Meet Stephanie Almeida, LCSW

I’m Stephanie Almeida, LCSW, founder of Evolve Therapy and Wellness, a private therapy practice serving children, teens, adults, and families across Connecticut through online-only services. I hold a Master’s in Social Work and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience supporting individuals through trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, life transitions, and personal growth.
Over the years, I’ve worked in outpatient clinics, schools, and community settings-helping individuals not just survive, but heal and evolve. My decision to start my own practice came from a desire to offer deeply personalized, flexible, and heart-centered care without the limitations of traditional systems. Evolve Therapy was born from the belief that healing can happen anywhere, especially when clients are given the tools, support, and space to grow.
Our Approach
We believe that therapy should feel like a safe and empowering space — one where your experiences are honored and your goals are truly heard. Our approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. We draw from evidence-based practices while always honoring your unique story, strengths, and values.
Evolve Therapy and Wellness was created out of a desire to provide care that’s more flexible, personalized, and heart-centered than traditional systems often allow. We believe healing doesn’t need to happen in a sterile office — it can happen in your home, your quiet space, wherever you feel safe. What matters most is the connection, the support, and the willingness to grow.

Let’s work together
If you’re ready to begin your healing journey, we are here to walk beside you. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or a loved one, we invite you to reach out to see if we’re a good fit. Therapy doesn’t have to feel overwhelming — together, we’ll find a way forward.
